Dr. Jones is currently exploring several statistical studies involving survival analysis, semiparametric regression, nonparametrics, methos for informative dropout, robust methods of regression, likelihood theory, tests for heterogeneity, and statistical methods for epidemiology (case-control and cohort studies). His specific methodological interests in survival analysis include semiparametric methods for accelerated lifetime; robust methods for proportional hazards regression, and; multiple frailty models. Dr. Jones is also pursuing methods of detecting heterogeneity across many small subgroups.
