In Memorium

It is with great sadness that students, staff and faculty of the EHSRC and the University of Iowa Community mourn the passing of Dr. Larry W. Oberley on April 21, 2008. Dr. Oberley served as the Director of our Oxidative Stress and Metabolism Research group and was a renowned scholar in free radical biology. He was a dedicated mentor of young scholars and a great researcher who believed in the power of science to cure disease and improve people’s lives. We extend our condolences to the Oberley family and to the many friends and colleagues who grieve.
