Environmental Modeling and Exposure Assessment Facility - Facilities & Equipment |
|||||||||
Facilities & EquipmentThe EMEAF plays a critical role in the EHSRC by providing state-of-the-art instruments and support to enhance exposure assessment research among Center investigators. The facility is housed in two rooms (540 s.f.) of the Institute for Rural and Environmental Health (IREH). These rooms provide for equipment storage as well as staging areas for instrument set-up and calibration. As shown in the list on the following page, the facility has access to a wide variety of instruments used to sample gases, vapors, aerosols and noise. Additional instruments used for sampling and analysis of organic dusts, microbes, endotoxins and glucans are jointly administered by this facility and the PTF (see PTF equipment list). All instrumentation in the EMEAF is available to EHSRC researchers on an as-needed basis. Equipment
