Dr. Cook's research interests are centered around occupational biomechanics (ergonomics) including therapeutic applications of new technology, electromyography, and macro ergonomics. He is also active in research and education in international environmental health, and directs a Fogarty International Training Program for Rural and Environmental Health. Through the use of communications technology, Dr. Cook has organized public health courses as a way of offering distance learning opportunities at the University for students all over the world.
